Terms and Conditions - Hike & Bike Hotel

1. General

  • Hike & Bike Hotel is an unmanned hotel, which means there is no staff present on-site. We are available by phone from 08:00 to 22:00 for all your questions and requests.
  • These terms and conditions apply to all reservations, bookings, and stays at Hike & Bike Hotel, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • By making a reservation or staying with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Reservations and Payments

  • All reservations must be fully paid at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
  • If payment is not received on time, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation without further notice.
  • Prices include VAT and other local taxes, unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellations and Modifications

  • Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 14 days before the arrival date. For cancellations within 14 days of arrival, 50% of the total stay cost will be charged.
  • In the event of a no-show or cancellation on the day of arrival, 100% of the total stay cost will be charged.
  • Changes to the reservation (such as extending or shortening the stay) are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

4. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in is available from 15:00. Check-out must be completed by 11:00.
  • A late check-out after 11:00 may result in an additional night's charge unless previously agreed.
  • As there is no staff on-site, guests will receive the necessary self-check-in information via email and/or SMS prior to their stay.

5. Stay and House Rules

  • Guests are expected to respect and adhere to the house rules of Hike & Bike Hotel.
  • We reserve the right to remove guests from the hotel without refund if they violate the house rules.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and indoor areas of the hotel. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.

6. Liability

  • Hike & Bike Hotel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests' personal belongings unless such damage is caused by the hotel’s intent or gross negligence.
  • Guests are liable for any damage to hotel property or furnishings caused during their stay.

7. Complaints

  • Any complaints should be reported as soon as possible by phone or e-mail. We will do our best to resolve the complaint as quickly as possible within our business hours (08:00-22:00).
  • Complaints that are not reported immediately cannot be addressed retroactively.

8. Privacy and Personal Data

  • Hike & Bike Hotel processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Personal data is only used for processing reservations and improving our services.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

  • All agreements and obligations with Hike & Bike Hotel are governed by Dutch law.
  • Disputes will first be resolved through mutual consultation. If this is not possible, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
